Philip Anthony Hopkins CBE is a British actor who adopted American nationality. In addition to composer, director, producer, cartoonist, writer, musician, and painter, he also is well known for his portrayal of the psychopath Dr. Hannibal Lecter in the films The Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, and Red Dragon.
